He began his studies in Santander, then moved to Madrid to study with Emilio Mateu and Thuan Do Min, later continuing his training in Holland at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Ron Ephrat and Rivka Golani.

He has been a member of the Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid, and has been a member of numerous chamber orchestras, including the Orquesta de Cámara Andrés Segovia, Orpheus Consort, etc. He has also collaborated regularly with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Radio Televisión Española (RTVE), Orquesta Nacional de España (ONE), Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, Symphony Orchestra of India, Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana (Les Arts) and, more recently, with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid (Teatro Real), among others.

In the field of chamber music he has performed all over Spain as a member of the Ensemble Verso, Art Concertante, and with the Mediterranean String Trio.

He currently holds a position as Professor of Viola at the Conservatorio "Adolfo Salazar" in Madrid. He also teaches some classes at the Centro Superior "Katarina Gurska" in Madrid.
